In order to highlight these 4-5 star campsites and the philosophy of life of the owners, we have set up Les Castels Tour, an annual tour of the Castels campsites to be followed on our social networks.

Each year, a new theme is chosen, so that you can discover the characteristics of each campsite from a new angle... From Brittany to the Gorges de l'Ardèche, via Limousin or Burgundy, this event is also an opportunity to discover the regions where Castels campsites are located.

Castels Tour 2025: a new way to experience heritage
From May to July 2025, Les Castels will be taking you on a tour of France to discover its most beautiful heritage: castles, unspoilt natural landscapes, regional know-how and living traditions. With the Castels Tour 2025, set off on a camping experience like no other, with cultural events, local discoveries and moments of sharing, at 13 exceptional campsites. Heirs to a strong history that began in 1959, Les Castels invites you to experience authentic, deep-rooted tourism, where you can camp in the heart of the region's heritage, with family or friends.

Castels Tour 2024: gastronomic discoveries and experiences
To celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Les Castels network, from mid-May to mid-July, the Castels Tour puts local gastronomy in the spotlight. Culinary demonstrations, cellar tours, meetings with local producers, on-site markets, cooking workshops and gastronomic competitions... the 13 independent addresses are concocting events in keeping with their local heritage, enabling families and friends to enjoy culinary experiences together.

2023: sustainable tourism in the spotlight at the Castels Tour
From 1 June to 10 July, the Castel Tour 2023 team is touring 13 sites throughout France in an electric van, in partnership with the nomadic accommodation provider Loutipi. In each campsite, a programme of activities based on Castel's eco-friendly practices is offered to holidaymakers. The moments of meeting and exchange around the respect and preservation of the planet will be linked to the DNA of the 13 independent addresses, all different. On the programme: discovery of the local fauna and flora, tasting of local products, workshops to make your own household products, learning to grow your own vegetables...
