Preparation

Wash the daisy leaves thoroughly.

Melt the butter.

Cut the goat's cheese into cubes.

Using a blender (or hand blender), blend the milk and daisy leaves together.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the eggs and the milk and daisy leaves. Add the melted butter, salt and baking powder.

Stir in the cubed goat's cheese and daisy flowers (keep a few aside for decoration).

Heat the waffle iron. When it is at the right temperature, oil the sides with a brush and spread 2 generous spoonfuls of batter on each side of the waffle iron. Close it and cook for about 2 to 4 minutes, depending on the power of the machine.

The waffles can be cut into small bites and decorated and garnished with grated carrots, cherry tomatoes, poppy petals, etc.
It is possible to make a sweet recipe without goat's cheese but still using the daisies.

Mint and chocolate chip waffles
A variation can be made with mint leaves instead of daisies. After placing the batter in the waffle iron, simply add chocolate chips (instead of goat's cheese) sparingly and then close the waffle iron.

Bon appétit!
